This paranormal hotspot in northwest Wisconsin continues to manifest a wide variety of anomalies. This video footage was recorded on August 23, 2021. I have only witnessed this anomaly one time after reviewing hundreds of hours of footage. In this video a silver segment of light/energy appears near the darkened trunk of a dead and damaged tree that I refer to as “Scar Tree”.
This strange segment or beam of light darts off at a forty-five degree angle towards the upper right of frame into the foliage of some nearby saplings. After contacting the foliage it appears to cross through the foliage from left to right exiting at the far right of frame. Initially, I thought it was a spider web glinting in the sun. However, upon closer inspection I could clearly see that it was much greater in diameter than any spider web I had observed in the past. Also, it was only a single segment of light moving at high speed and in one direction. Reflections off of spider webs tend to course back and forth and change direction quite frequently. The reflections from the webs I have observed over the past three years don’t move at speeds that this single segment of light exhibited. The light segment in question appeared over the ferns which inspired me to give this video the title of “Fern Ghost Light”.

Jay,
It was so great to meet you at the Georgia Bigfoot Conference, but I must have written down the wrong email for you. Sorry about that.
Here is the information for the 1925 living UFO account. Trevor J Constable wrote about it briefly in his work on “sky critters”, but I also have a pdf of the original Flying Saucer Magazine from Oct 1959 that I can send you.

As far as the Anishnaabe/Ojibwe Little People, it seems that their folklore, like that of the Cherokee, accounts for multiple types or species of Little People. Some seem to be have cryptozoological/biological, like the Proto-Pygmy described by Loren Coleman (https://archive.org/details/fieldguidetobigf00cole/page/71/mode/2up). Others have the magical properties of the Fae, including vanishing into thin air. Here is an article I found that briefly mentions the multiple types of Little People.

Hey Erin,
I really enjoyed meeting you and Merlin.
Thank you for taking the time to send me the information about the
1925 Living UFO account and the Little People.
I would be interested in reading that pdf of the original Flying Saucer Magazine
from Oct. 1959.
I have read that article about the Anishnaabe/Ojibwawa Little People.
I can’t seem to find much else about them on the web.
I will be in Wisconsin this summer and fall continuing my investigations.
Currently there are seven First Nations Ojibwe reservations in northern Wisconsin.
Perhaps I could speak with knowledgeable individuals
within the reservations who would be willing to share their folklore about the
Little People. Not sure of how I would approach them or if they would even be willing
to discuss the information with an outsider. If you have any suggestions on how I could
accomplish this it would certainly be appreciated.
No worries about the email..

This is a really fascinating video of something we aren’t really suppose to witness. In my opinion, I think you have captured videos of a certain race of “little people.” As a anishinaabe from the region, we are told stories about the special little beings that we share this world with. They too have numerous tribes, customs, physicality’s, and purposes like us bigger beings. I’m not surprised about the geographical location either, little people were once known to be many in the upper midwest–making their homes on the banks of rivers and lakes. Thanks for sharing what you witnessed!
Hi Motega. I’ve had several viewers share their belief that what I have caught on camera are the fae. I frankly don’t have any idea as to the identity of these strange manifestations. They may indeed be the “Little People”. All I know is that this small glade on the edge of the Chippewa River is indeed a place of high strangeness. Are there any websites, literature, etc. that you recommend I read to increase my knowledge about the folklore associated with the anishinaabe and the ‘Little People”? Thanks for sharing this information and for taking the time to watch the video. It is greatly appreciated!
